Wrong pronunciation of ‘ayn in Surah Al-Ahzab 33:35
Táshéèñ Ûzzåmäñ Khâñ
Assalamu alaykum. I found a bug on Quran.com in Surah Al-Ahzab (33:35).
The word وَٱلْخَـٰشِعَـٰتِ appears to be pronounced/rendered incorrectly in the word-level reading/highlighted feature. The letter ع (‘ayn) is being treated like ح (ḥa).
This is incorrect. The word should be pronounced with ‘ayn, not ḥa.
Operating system: macOS
Browser: Google Chrome
Affected verse: 33:35
Affected word: والخاشعات
Steps to reproduce:
Open Surah Al-Ahzab, verse 33:35 on Quran.com
Use the word-level reading/highlighted word feature
Go to the word والخاشعات
Notice that the ع (‘ayn) is pronounced/read incorrectly, sounding like ح (ḥa)
Please review and fix this issue. Jazakum Allahu khayran.
