Quran.com app forcing landscape mode on Android 17

Assalamu alaykum,
I’m reporting a possible bug. On my Google Pixel 8 Pro (Android 17), the Quran.com app recently started forcing landscape mode even though screen rotation is disabled in Android settings. This only happens with Quran.com, other apps work normally.
The issue appeared suddenly, possibly after an update. Please check if the app is overriding the device orientation settings.
