In surah Al-Anfāl verse ٢٥ on the mobile app from reciter Raad al-kurdi' recitation, on the last word العقاب the audio is cut short and faded off right before the last letter ب is pronounced, so it sounds like he says

شديد العقا... واذكروا

instead of the full pronunciation

وَٱعۡلَمُوۤا۟ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِیدُ ٱلۡعِقَابِ (٢٥)...

....وَٱذۡكُرُوۤا۟ إِذۡ أَنتُمۡ قَلِیلࣱ مُّسۡتَضۡعَفُونَ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ

(To the end of the ayah)

In summary the ب from the word العقاب in ayah ٢٥ was not pronounced or atleast not visible in the audio
