جزاك الله خيرا for the new app updates, looks great.
However, I noticed the audio played is delayed compared to raw mp3 audio or compared to older version.
I have a video to show, in this video, the iPhone is playing raw mp3 version of the ayat, while the iPad is playing from the app.
Please see this video of the pacing issue with the audio - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pDyUY5GPQWmF3Nn1cVfB_yDU11R53Ini/view?usp=share_link

Jazak Allahu khairan for the kind words and for the video, it made this much easier to track down.
I compared the audio from your video against the source files. The difference comes from the recordings themselves, not from the app's playback:
- The app was playing "Mishary Al-Afasy", our gapless reciter. That streams full surah files from quranicaudio.com. In your video, the app follows that file exactly at 1× speed, with no added delay between verses.
- Your iPhone's mp3s are the per-ayah Alafasy files from everyayah.com. They're the same recitation, but those files are about 4% faster than the full-surah version, with the same pitch. That adds up to roughly 2.5 seconds per minute, which is the drift you heard between the two devices.
Thanks again for the detailed report!
