A clear all would be nice.
In the meantime. Have you tried using Bookmark for this feature as a workaround?
Recently read is useful if you are exploring and lost where you left off due to distractions or you simply closed your app and finished reading. Kind of nice to have it track multiple chapters.
Using bookmark allows you to clear and add at any time.
