Old Tajweed

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh. I hope this message finds you in good health and iman.
Firstly, I would like to express my gratitude for the incredible service Quran.com provides in spreading the message of the Quran. May Allah bless your efforts abundantly.
I humbly request to implement an option to use the old Tajweed colours from previous.quran.com. These colours held a special significance for many of us, aiding in the understanding and application of Tajweed rules. In addition, I kindly ask for the reintroduction of the feature where hovering over the Tajweed colours provides a description of the respective Tajweed rule. This feature was immensely helpful in comprehending and applying the correct recitation.
By bringing back the old Tajweed colours, you would be enhancing the user experience and facilitating the recitation and pronunciation of the Quran for a larger audience.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for considering this request. May Allah bless you with success in your endeavours to serve the Muslim ummah worldwide.
Barakallahu feekum.
Sincerely,
Sulaiman

Old Tajweed Mushaf
Hamza A Hussain
Assalmualykum, I have a request for restoration of the old tajweed mushaf as an option along with the new one. This is only because the lines differ between the mushafs and for somebody on their Hifz journey its essential the online mushaf i use matches my actual mushaf which the previous one did. I understand you aim to implement improved editions over time which makes sense for the normal reader but for us people completing Hifz we need the consistency with our mushaf. The previous tajweed mushaf on here and your app was the only one which matched my mushaf in terms of the ayahs positioning on the page and number of lines per page perfectly. Please could you consider adding that mushaf back as an option so we can chose between them?
JazakAllah Khairun,
Hamza

OLD TAJWEED MUSHAF IS BETTER
Salman Abrar
Assalamualaikum, I hope this message finds you in good shape. I believe that a lot of people are accustomed to reading the Holy Quran in the old mushaf and so am I. There should be options for the old tajweed, too .Hope that it won't be a challenge for the developers and take into consideration. My reading streaks have been stricken because of the New Tajweed.
I Found this quran.com to be most comfortable and hope it will be.

Assalamualaikum. I have preference on the older tajweed fonts. The new fonts seem to be squeezing the top and lower arabic texts. This makes it difficult to know where is the kasrah and fatha. Maybe it'll help if you could increase the spacing between the top and bottom.

Qurandotcom Feedback

السلام عليكم
Br. Sulaiman's & others' requests about restoring the earlier tajweed colour-coding scheme makes total sense. Note: earlier scheme didn't include the (ترقيق & تفخيم) for the letter ر
The thing to note is that even if you don't change the colours and we all get used to the new scheme, it would be the same poor UX if the colour scheme were to be changed yet again!
So, unless there's a tremendous gain in this colour scheme change, we request:
1. the old colour scheme to be restored, and
2. to include the colouring of the letter ر accordingly.
جزاكم الله خيرا
Sincerely
Sajid Ali

Feedback on Recent Update - Tajweed Versions
@
@meimaniqrar
Dear Quran.com Team, Assalam u Alaikum,
I hope this message finds you well. I want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the exceptional work you do for the community. Your efforts in making the Quran accessible and understandable for everyone are truly commendable.
Regarding the recent update on September 15, 2024, I found the tajweed enhancements to be a great improvement. However, it would be beneficial to have an option to switch between the previous and the new version.
Thank you once again for your dedication and hard work. It makes a significant difference in the lives of many.
Best regards,
Muhammad Eiman Iqrar.

Option to go back to old tajweed
Yusuf
I got used to the older tajwid text. I feel like the new one is too convoluted and so many things are colored. I don't need a color to tell me what letters are takhfim for example. Please make it an option to go back to old one.
