The current presentation of Quran.com is not adequately engaging for today's Muslim children and teenagers, especially when compared to addictive educational apps like Brilliant and Duolingo. I'm a mature adult and can personally attest to the magnetic pull of Brilliant's format.
We need to modernize the experience with these key elements:
A dedicated mascot to connect with young users.
High-quality, educational animations.
Interactive, quest-based learning adventures—drawing inspiration from the success of Brilliant, Duolingo, and the new Stanford/Google DeepMind AI learning game for kids.
The entire platform should be gamified. This is a crucial opportunity to provide children with a truly beneficial 'game' to play, steering them away from less constructive screen time. The potential for improvement is immense.
