Ibn Kathir Tafsir for Ash-Shu'ara references 28:28 and it should be 28:38

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Daoud,
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your message and for taking the time to point this out.
In Tafsir Ibn Kathir, it is common for the author to reference other verses of the Qur’an that convey a similar meaning. The numbers in parentheses, such as (28:38) or (43:54), are cross-references to those verses and are not intended to refer to the current surah being explained. This is a standard style used in classical tafsir works.
However, if you notice something that appears different or inconsistent, please feel free to share it with us. We would be happy to review it further.
May Allah reward you for your careful reading and for helping us improve Quran.com.

Wa Alaikum Asalaam Wa Rahmat Allahi wa Barakatuhu. I Understand how it works. My report was the wrong verse is quoted. It shows 28:28 but should be 28:38
The Stories (28:38)
Pharaoh declared, “O chiefs! I know of no other god for you but myself. So bake bricks out of clay for me, O Hamân, and build a high tower so I may look at the God of Moses, although I am sure he is a liar.”
